    The Lakeview School District is accepting applications for the following areas of Employment:

     

    Assistant to Technology Director

    QUALIFICATIONS:  Any combination equivalent to:  Associates degree and/or successful experience in      Management Information Systems (MIS).

    REPORTS TO:  Tech Director

    JOB GOALS:  Plan, organize, implement and coordinate a project, program or activity having limited overall impact on the District and requiring limited variety of standard practices and procedures:  contacts outside the unit are limited to routine matters; requires routine supervision.

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Plans, organizes, implements and coordinates a project, program or activity.
    • Develops, establishes or administers project, program or activity.
    • Serves as liaison with other units, departments or outside agencies as required.
    • Maintains communication and works closely with district staff, local school staff and the community regarding information, developments and implementation of project, program or activity.
    • Assures compliance with Federal, State and District policy, administrative procedures and negotiated agreements as applicable to assignment.
    • Prepares, delivers or assists with training opportunities as appropriate.
    • Demonstrates regular attendance and punctuality.
    • Adheres to the appropriate code of ethics.
    • Performs other duties consistent with the position assigned as may be requested by the Superintendent.

    KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:

    KNOWLEDGE OF:

    • Subject matter in area of Technology both Hardware and Software
    • In-service materials, subject matter and methods in area of specialty
    • Record-keeping techniques
    • Oral and written communication skills
    • Rules and regulations related to assigned activities
    • Policies and objectives of assigned programs and activities
    • Interpersonal skills using tact, patience and courtesy
    • Technical Support of PC in Domain Environment

    ABILITY TO:

    • Provide assistance to District and school personnel in area of Technology
    • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing
    • Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others
    • Maintain records, prepare reports and verify data
    • Plan, organize, prioritize and schedule work to meet time lines
    • Maintain current knowledge of program rules, regulations, requirements and restrictions
    • Maintain current knowledge of technological advances in the field and attend training as needed

    Girls’ Basketball High School Head Coach

     

    The Lakeview School District is seeking a Head Varsity Girls’ Basketball Coach for the 2018/2019 season.  This position is responsible for the organization and administration of the Lakeview Girls’ Basketball program and its entirety.

     

    Qualifications:

    • High School Diploma
    • 1-3 years successful coaching experience
    • Must have knowledge of current girls’ basketball rules and regulations set by the PIAA and NFHS
    • Ability to teach fundamental skills and team concepts of girls’ basketball
    • Ability to interact with student athletes of different ages and skill levels in a positive and professional manner
    • Must demonstrate the ability to handle administrative aspects of coaching a PIAA high school sport: practice schedules, workouts (in and out of season), parent meetings, coaches meetings, rosters, working with the Athletic Director, etc.
    • Must demonstrate a high degree of integrity as all Lakeview staff members are considered to be role models for Lakeview students
