    The Lakeview School District is seeking candidates for the following

    Lakeview School District will be hosting a 2023 Gifted Learning Summer Camp.
    Camp dates:- June 12 through August 10, 2023
    Camp days:- Monday through Thursday- Minimum of 10 total days, not to exceed 10 total days
    Camp hours:- Minimum of 6 hours per day, not to exceed 6 hours per day
    The Lakeview School District is seeking candidates for the following Gifted Learning
    Summer Camp:
    2023 Summer Gifted Program Coordinator 
    Responsibilities
      Coordinate and plan the program for gifted students
      60 camp hours, as outlined above
    Compensation
      $3,000 stipend for set program days/hours as outlined above paid from ARP
    ESSER and/or ARP ESSER After School Set Aside

    School Police Officer

    The Lakeview School District is looking to hire a full-time School Police Officer.  The Officer will ensure a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors and ensure the school district is prepared to effectively respond to all emergencies.  This position will also carry a firearm, detain individuals and issue summary citations on School District property.

    Qualifications:

    •  High School Diploma.
    •  Act 120 certified / PA State Police Academy Graduate / Municipal Police Officer Education and Training Commission (MPOETC) Graduate.
    •  Weapons Proficiency Qualifications and Current Certification.
    •  National Association of School Resource Officers Training, a plus but not required.

             Pay: $32.59 per hour plus full benefits. 
             182 day contract plus additional days as determined by the Superintendent.
             Must provide their own standard firearm and standard police equipment.

    Part-Time Athletic Trainer
    The Lakeview School District is seeking a part-time Athletic Trainer to support the District.
    Athletic Trainer must be licensed to practice in the state of PA, National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA)
    certification/State Licensure, CPR/AED/First Aid certification and the following other qualifications:

    • Ability to lift students using biomedical techniques throughout the course of a work day;
      must be capable of easily lifting fifty (50) pounds of weight alone
    • Ability to walk, bend, stand, and reach constantly during a work day
    • Provide athletic training coverage and injury treatment during practices and games
    • Provide injury assessment, treatment, and preventative measures before sports practices during after-school hours
    • Provide acute injury assessment and treatment of both home and visiting team athletes
    • Determine proper referrals to other medical professionals as needed: EMTs, orthopedic or primary care physicians, chiropractors, physical therapists In coordination with the school nurse and other
      medical professionals, devise individual injury management and rehabilitation plans as needed for each athlete, and determine the appropriate return to play
    • Conduct and maintain concussion testing and protocol process
    • Provide current information about appropriate preventative and management measures
      for athletic injuries to coaches, athletes, and families
    • Assist in inventory storage, distribution, and maintenance of athletic training supplies
    • Ensure proper emergency equipment is available at all games and practices – including
      stand-by ambulances and security
    • Assist with preparation and maintenance of the athletic facilities
    • Includes some weekend and holiday coverage, as well as traveling to games

    Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Biology or a health related field is required.  Please send
